I hereby grant permission to any non-commercial user to freely peruse the International Directory of Finance and Economics Professionals, as long as use is not designed to produce a directory in direct competition with this service. (If you have interest in building a related service, I would be happy to talk to you about cooperating on the effort.)
I hereby prohibit any use of this directory by any organization which either sells or distributes email lists, or sends information to more than 300 recipients in a mass-emailing, in its ordinary course of business or with a frequency of more than once per month. (Send me email if you have good reason to request an exception.)
I hereby grant permission to commercial users (who do not fit the above characteristic of a mass-emailing organization) to record the results of no more than one query per day. The purpose and spirit of this restriction is to prevent the building of "spam" email lists from this service.
PS: The owner is willing to make this data base available to not-for-profit organizational use [e.g., by the Society for Financial Studies] on a very rare basis and when this usage is deemed to be of exceptional usefulness to academic finance professors. This data base will not degenerate into a spamming engine!
