- In common symbols and notation, the subscript on alpha is obviously i, not k.
- The book often uses 255 as the number of trading days per year. The
correct number is closer to 252. This never
makes any substantial difference to calculations, but it is the number that
the next edition of my book will use.
- In the important box on page 21, in the formula, second part (of
three), the superscript "^t" should be outside the parenthesis.
- The source of the anecdote in Chapter 2, page 22, is Will Goetzmann.
- page 61: the second equation's formula should be aligned differently
under the numerics.
- page 209: in the "scenario outcome" little table, the first S is a $ instead.
- Fig 8.5: strictly speaking, only the top half of the hyperbola is MVE
- last paragraph of page 26---the discount rate is used for both r and r_t
- Q 8.17 may be too vague.
